I'm taking out the CW9 tomorrow. I loaded up five mags of Remington 115 FMJ and I packed 100 rounds of Gold Dot 124 JHP.

I have two 6" Shoot-N-See targets that are begging to be perforated by angry 9mm ammo. If all goes well, the targets will get their wish. This pistol has been flawless. Zero malfunctions. It's become my everyday carry... replacing my M&P 9 compact.

I'll be working on my trigger control again. After so many years of S&W revolvers and Semi-autos, I'm still learning to press/pull/squeeze/jerk the loooong trigger of my Khar.
(I am also bringing my M&P 9 compact... it needs love too.);)

I have put approx. 500 rounds through my CW9 and it has performed flawless also. Enjoy killing your paper!

Got back this afternoon and spent some time cleaning and gutting my targets. MAN, I killed them dead!!! 100 rounds and NO prisoners.
At 20 feet and then at 30 feet, they just took all the punushment that I sent downrange. They never had a chance.
Ya know, I may just do this again next week.:D

OrlandoChuck: That's one hell of a big goose.

I think you've discovered what quite a few of us have found. The CW9, for the money, is the very best in the polymer, small, single stack carry 9 on the market. Mine is a bit over two years old, and only has about 1200 rounds down the tube, but it's been 100% reliable and extremely accurate since day one.

Night sights next?

mr surveyor:

Night sights wouldn't do me much good. I don't go out when the street lights come on.;)
I've also gotten used to Crimson Trace Laser sights on my M&P 9c and S&W 642. They're hard to beat for aging eyes and diminished lighting.

P.S. I put another 50 rounds thru the CW9 this afternoon...That's one fine little pistol. Fuuuuun shooting!!
