I was walking down the the mailbox, and felt something sliding down my backside, I guess my CW45 in the Remora holster had gotten loose and was sliding down I was almost to the mailbox so I shook my leg a little and got the CW45 to come out my pants leg. I think what had happened was I had loosened up my belt after supper, and forgot to re adjust the Remora before taking the trip down to the mail box and it slipped down past my belt to where it had room to roam in these loose fitting jeans I have on. Sure was glad it was dark and no one saw me pulling the gun out of my pant leg. I was very careful as it was hard to tell what part of the gun I had ahold of thru the pant leg, and didn't want to grab the trigger. Luckily I had ahold of it by the rear of the slide and was able to work it out the bottom of my pant leg. I'm sure it would have been comical to watch, but I was a bit worried that I might hit the trigger and who knows where the bullet would have went. So, if you use a Remora and loosen your belt after a meal, make sure you adjust the holster and tighten your belt back up before you go anywhere. :der:
Doing the oops-the-gun-is-loose dance always involves some fancy footwork and goofy gyrations. A video would have been nice. :D

Well maybe I can video a recreation, with an UNLOADED gun. I was definately not having fun knowing it was loaded and had that smooth trigger that might snag on something and remove parts of me I'm rather fond of.

I can't even imagine that happening with any of my Remora's.
I can't get the holster out of my pants without giving myself
a wedgie.....and this is with boxers! That stuff sure is sticky!
But the Remora's have been spending a LOT of time
carrying my Glock 23, Glock 27 and lately PM9 IWB.
I have yet to find anything I don't like about them.
(Aside from the aforementioned wedgie issue...)
They are SOOOOO convenient and stay put really well.

Sounds like you and Plexico Burress have something in common. Perhaps you could ask him where the bullet would have went?
Isn't Plexico now endorsing the level III security holsters from Serpa?:D

The most important thing about this event is what was so good for supper that you had to loosen your belt? Mine was homemade chili this evening. :D
Uhgggggg... There's no belt adjustment for homemade Chili. One minute the holster fits, the next minute it's sliding down your ankle.
