No loose front sight. I took it apart wiped all the oil I could get off it and shot 200 rounds from four different manufacturers. 150 where 115 gr fmj and one was 124 fmj. Had one FTE on the third mag, it was stuck nose down and easy to clear no other problems even with rapid fire. Love this gun now need to work on my trigger control.

Welcome to the forum.
You've had the usual experience with the CW9. I've not had any problems with mine that was not induced by myself. (My low powered reloads early on)
Yup. That Kahr trigger does take some getting used to. But, that's half the fun!

I feel good about the long trigger pull on DAO guns like my CW9. It's my EDC gun so I feel like it is a safety. I carry with one in the chamber so the long pull is a good thing.

My experience and feeling exactly...

Exactly!!! It's almost like Kahr knew what they were doing.;)
It wasn't a difficult transition from revolvers to Striker fired Kahrs and M&P pistols. I like the "built-in-safety" trigger.

Another +1 on that.

Welcome to KahrTalk.
One failure so early in the break-in period would not have me worried. She how she does with your carry ammo of choice (assuming this is not a range gun) and if all goes well you should be good to go.

Yep, it was my first Kahr too, about five years ago. Great introduction to the brand.
