I have a new PM9. As usual, it came with the 6 round mag and the 7 round mag. Will the PM9 accept mags designed for the other Kahr 9mms? What's the highest capacity mag I can use in the PM9?

Thanks

1-yes
2-8, it's not pretty though

Actually I think an aftermarket company makes a 10-rounder that sticks about about 3 inches from the bottom. I've heard they don't work very well though. Mag-safe? Mag-well? Whatever it's ugly and impractical.

Pro mag that's it I don't have any but heard they aren't reliable

Here's my post with photos on the magazines:

I carry with 6+1 and an 8-round extended grip reload in a mag holder. The 8-round extended mags have never given me any trouble and I use them at the range and for reloads in CCW and home defense.

I deem a reload for CCW a necessity for many reasons... magazine failure or losing the magazine in a scuffle during close quarters self-defense. If your magazine falls out, it's nice to not have to cry "timeout" as you try to recover the mag while someone is assaulting you.

Trout, those pics are very helpful. Exactly what I needed to see.

Thanks

I want the magazine in Edward Burns' Kahr, used in the movie 15 Minutes, when he offs the bad guy at the end of the film. A 14 or 15 round mag that was flush! It was real because I saw it with my own eyes. ;)

You were fool again. Edward used a slight of hand mag change during sequence. Fast, isn't he. :)
