The break in period will throw some curves and give minor problems but once you lube the springs the problems all go away. I always learn by trial and error. When I find the right solution, I don't mind passing the information along to help others. In the beginning I had some failure to eject and failure to load problems with my new CM9. Well the first thing I corrected was low powered ammo. A new kahr will not function correctly on target, low power ammo. It will not eject them and that leads to not loading the next round. To Correct that, I went to full power defense/hunting ammo. Problem corrected. Next the slide worked stiff and hard. Light gun oil on a new kahr is not a good match. So, I got out my old auto greese gun and run out a small bead on some scrap paper and used my finger to grees the recoil springs. I did both of them the large spring and the small spring as well as some on the rails. It's hard to believe the difference in ease of opperation. If you are having similar problems, greese it up and correct them. Caution, do not put any greese on the striker spring or the striker itself. Then enjoy your Kahr like I do mine, flawlessly.
