Sitting in my Smartcarry loaded with +P Winchester PDX as I type.

That is all.

(Pics are coming.)

Consider Speer GDHP Short Barrel 135 P+. It's what I carry in my 342 ti.
Check the FBI Protocol Test results from a snub nose:

Great firearm. I have a 340pd and it gets carried everywhere my PM9 is not. Try some Speer short barrel Gold dots.

My S&W 642 is in my carry rotation (including Kahr CW9 and M&P 9c)

I sure don't feel "undergunned" with five rounds of 135gr. Gold Dot ammo.

Even if it has the drrrreeaaded lock, big deal. I've put many hundreds of rounds thru mine.... NO PROBLEMS.

Enjoy your new revolver.

Is that the 329PD? Those grips are awesome, you think I can improve on that? I'm feeling some huge pressure here and I don't mind telling ya.

Sweet wheelguns. Love those J frames including my Bodyguard Airweight (bought it from a Texas LEO years ago):

Almost forgot to mention.
I've got two J-frames myself (342 ti & 640-1).
And my favorite upgrade was adding a XS Systems Big Dot to the nose.

Just something to think about - LOL!

Neat sight!

Thanks guys!

I'll have to check out how to do the internals... this is my first wheelgun so I have some learning to do. :) I put 60 rounds through it tonight (50 Federal bulk lead and 10 Winchester PDX 130gr +P).

Seems I shoot it high and to the right (I'm a lefty).

This thread has helped clarify my thinking.

Being bereft of any wheelguns, I have decided that 2012 will be the "Year of the Wheelgun" for me. I have promoted several S&W and Colt revolvers to the top of my wish list. Now all I have to do is wait until January.

My 642 is my go-to pocket carry. [Don't yet own a PM or CM series.]
