Hi all,

So I went to the show and picked up my new (though year old) PM9 with tru-dot's. After receiving it, I inspected the entire fire arm and am happy to report, the rolling is all even, the slide looks great and surprisingly both mags the 6 & 7 rounder both drop clean on release.

I am unsure though, but the 6 rounder is stamped "MK", I did read this is a little older, the gun is a year old though brand new, is this something I should be concerned with?

I have racked the slide about 300+ times so far and oddly enough it feels rather smooth already, I am going to field strip shortly oil some of the important spots, tear down the mags and hopefully hit the range tonight.

I will post pics and the range report later this evening.

Cheers!

Sounds like a great start! MK is what all the PM9 mags say I believe. Uses the same magazines as its older brother the MK9.

Yep! I have FOUR mags for my PM9, and all of them are marked MK. You've got the real deal there! Wait until you shoot that gun at the range. You'll REALLY love it!

Ok first update:

Slide has been racked 500+ times, its quite smooth now, I did a field strip to clean poly shards, and a light oiling and cleaning of the pipe, lookin good.

I then tested loading the 7rnd mag and noticed the load angle looking very odd, I broke the mag down and noticed the spring head direction was opposite angle of the follower, so thanks the mag thread I flipped it over so the angle of the spring matches the angle of the follower.

Off to dinner, then the range!

Cheers!
