I put together a lower for an AR-15 nearly a year ago, but never could decide on an upper. Decided I would rather have a .22LR than a .223 since all I intend to do is put holes in targets. I found the one I wanted yesterday (by Tactical Solutions, it even has a threaded barrel for our silencer too), got to go out and play today.

my lower:

complete (finally):

Got some pretty good groups, especially considering the 30+ mph winds we had today (wind comes sweepin down the plains!)

I definitely think I made the right decision. I shot about 300-350 rounds today and had a blast w/o having to mortgage the house.

Looks good. What is the optic mounted on it in the pics? Are you on your property?

Thanks for posting. I have an M&P 15 5.56 /.223 with an Eotech 512

Hubby bought a DiamondBack 9mm, he's been wanting to try it. That little thing kicks like a MULE. I can shoot my MK9 all day long, but 6 rounds through the DB9 and I was done with it.

Nice job with that Kriss!
I like the look of your AR and good luck with the DB9.

And just where have you been hiding missy? Of course if it weren't for work I wouldn't be here much either.

work has been nuts lately, but I guess that's a good problem to have.

No way darling, there's plenty of me for all of you. I miss you when your gone. I started to say no way Renee but she was out of the picture long ago.

Mikey, your at big people table for Thanksgiving, your punishment for trying to get me in trouble. Sorry dude, sometimes you just gotta practice tough love.

Darn it, that stinks! Just don't make me sit by aunt Louisa, you know how gassy she gets when she eats yams.

Sorry dude, that's right where you are on the seating chart, right across from grandma who drools till it runs down the front of her shirt, actually on rather than down, sort of like a small lake in Idaho, no shortage of breathing apparatus on that old girl. Probably has to tie em off to tie her shoes.
I'm sorry to say Auntie sent Louisa a large portion of yams to prime the pump so to speak so she should be well gassed up on arrival.
As a safety precaution we've moved the kids table to the back screened in mud room for our breathing pleasure.

Guess you'll be more careful and mind your P's and Q's more better in the future.
