:DWell, I returned from my cruise and my new CW was waiting for me to pick it up. It was delayed by UPS until 5PM because they tried to deliver it before the store opened.
I will start the complete Prep routine tonight, since I was too tired to do it properly yesterday. My next obstacle is to get my wife to let me use it before Christmas. I think I have that covered as she wants a new recliner so if I get that for her she can't use that until Christmas either.
I am going to order my extra magazine this morning and try to get the standard 6 round instead of the seven extended. I don't think I would like the extra length.:D

Sweet! I'll be curious what you think of it and how it performs.
I stick with the flush mags, too (for my CW9) I got a small pistol for concealment purposes... it seems kind of silly to get a mag that sticks out.
Your comment about the extended magazine is interesting. I am used to my PM9 with flush mags and when shooting with extended mags, it feels awkward. As a result, I do not carry the extended mags. I figure if I need my gun and require more then the flush mag, I am probably already "feet up".

I think it's "Toes up" but I could be wrong on that. I know I was toes up when the wall got me but I they were the least of my concerns.

Yes, you are a macho man. Still working, raising and marrying off kids, a marriage that has lasted, a stupendous collection of guns, and you're the best forum mod EVER! :)

The grip on the CW45 is quite long - I don't see getting the extended unless you just want the extra round. I've never needed the extended on any of my Kahrs including the CW45 that I had for a brief time.

Well, i ended up having to wait until today to get my new CW45. It is all prepped and ready for the range. I will be going to the range tomorrow morning and start the break-in. My wife ended up sitting in her old chair until today so I had to hold off get my CW45.
Hopefully the break-in go flawless like my CM9 did. My son go a Hi Point C9 for Christmas and will be going to the range with me tomorrow. It will be a good starter gun for him, low maintenance and durable.

Nothing wrong with a C9 - I paid $99 for a LN one 6 or 7 years ago, and it's been my glove box gun ever since. I'll admit that they're somewhat heavy and ugly, but they're reliable and almost indestructible.
