Hello all, just wanted to see if anyone elses cw45 struck the primer low left i believe, and has a drag mark across the back of the casing from the stiker.
This happens every round i shoot! and i recently started having light strike issues too. However the firing pin has been striking and dragging from day one.

The primer smear is normal and I believe explained someplace in the manual. Across the base of the case I would not call normal. Perhaps a picture of this might help.

Tear drop primer strikes are normal, every automatic pistol has them. If you are seeing another scratch line outside the primer area on the back of the case it is also normal. Thats the mark made to eject the case outward from the chamber. The ejecter pulls the case back and out of the chamber until ite case hits a "stop" which disloges the case from the ejecter so the momentim can throw the case out and away.

new kahrowner. I think your kahr owners manual addresses the primer drag and even shows a picutre. Normally these owners manuals are just legal b.s. but kahrs addresses many things in their manual that addresses their guns. reading is very good for the mind, so Bawanna states, course there are two vbery important requirements to that also. 1. one must have a mind, 2 one must be able to read

that little hole in the bototm onf the slide up by the breech face is there for you to spray clean out that striker channel. no need IMO to take that slide allthe way apart, use that clean ou7t hole every time you clean the gun and the cvhannel will stay perfectly clean. My little PM9 has over 32 K rounds out of it, I had the slide down only once in all that time and that was back in the very beginning when I installed the 5# striker spring, since then the little clean out hole and I have a very good relationship.
