I'm new here!

I'm new to the forum guys and new to Kahr guns in general. I looked at Kahr guns in gun shops, but for whatever reason, I never ended up buying one. I stated looking at 9mm single stack handguns and pretty soon I came across the CM9. I am what my wife refers to as the review King. I usually won't buy anything without going to google and looking for forums and reviews.


I did it a little different this go around, I bought my CM9, and looked for comments afterward. I'm glad I did it that way. I would have read the posts about trouble some have had, and let it keep me from owning what I believe is a truly GREAT handgun. I don't have many rounds through mine (115), but they have passed through flawlessly! Hopefully it will stay that way, but after reading a few posts here, I feel confident that if I have trouble, Kahr will make it right.


I wanted to let you guys and gals know I'm the newbie here, and will probably ask the occasional dumb question. That being said, I'm looking forward to putting a few more rounds through my CM9 and learning all I can about 'em!

Welcome. Read and heed the break-in advice posted here. Print out and USE the lube guidelines...CLEAN your CM9 after each use. These little Kahr autos are great carry weapons but IMHO...are NOT the best choice for a person who wants to buy a small gun to carry...pick up a box of ammo for it, fire a few rounds then load her up, and carry daily. I love mine, but I'm a "firearms enthusiast" and enjoy the little extra it takes to bet-my-life on my CM9.

Welcome to the show, Gatorgear..I am the same way as you. I do my homework before I buy anything. And, I was skeptical. I wanted a PM9 and just wasn't sure if I needed a problem child in my future. A few PM's to Jocko, and asked a bunch of questions on this forum, and I pulled the trigger on one. Now, I am in love with that little pistol, and it will be my EDC, as soon as I get a few more rounds through it. I have 220 trouble free rounds, so far. My skepticism is gone, and I will have another Kahr as soon as it works out. Welcome to the fold, and enjoy that new shootin' iron..Mike

That is the common bond here.. No one is really a newbie here. IMO ur only alone if u stand there with a jamed kel tec!!!!!!!!
