Ok everyone, here is an update to the vid and my post earlier in the week. Today I was at a gun shop in my area where I found a Wilson Combat 47 OX mag. On this type of mag it looks like some small amount of fitting is required to fit the CW 45. It locked into place when the slide was open but did not lock when it was closed. as I'm no gun smith I'm not sure how much fitting is to be done yet. So this is not one that can be used right out of the pack as stated in the posted video. I don't like to post wrong info for everyone to read and for that I'm sorry. How ever I will be on top of this and have the right info soon. If this works that will be great and if it don't then it is what it is... my mistake...
Thanks, GLenn

The Wilson 47D works perfectly in my PM45. Cycles and locks open on the last round. My 47OX's the officer size function but do not lock open. They look identical on the top end so I'm perplexed why they don't work also. Kind of handy since the PM is a backup to my 1911 so spare mags will fit both guns.
Others here have not had the same success so it might just be a lucky fluke for me which I'm certainly not used to.

Glenn,
I've found the amount of fitting needed to get Officer's/Compact size 1911 magazines to work in my CW45 is very minimal: usually, a little off the top and possibly some work on the catch window. All the mags I have modified still work fine in my Officer's ACP.

I took a pro-mag 10 round mag and filed it in the right spots, and works out pretty well at the range. I don't think I'd trust it for carry, I have that old saying stuck in my head, for SD, use the mag that came with your pistol, or one from the same company as your pistol. The only pistol I kind of break this rule with is my Beretta Cougar .40. It came with the Politically Correct 10 round mag, and I picked up a couple blue 11 round mags, then Beretta had some stainless steel 12 round mags on sale so I picked up a couple of those and usually one can be found in the Cougar. Not had a bit of trouble with it after a couple boxes of WWB and some Ranger 155gr hp SD loads, so figure it's reliable enough for carry. Then I have 12 and 11 round backup mags in my mag pouch. Thats my rough part of town package. With my Charter Arms .44 5 rounds with 2 speed loaders, or LC9 as backup.
