I just purchased a P9 yesterday. I cleaned it and took it to the range today and cycled 200 rounds of HPR 115gr through it in 40 minutes. It performed brilliantly!!! If I sound shocked it's because my CW40 is back at Kahr getting fixed. I had nothing but issues with that. The CW, P, CM & PM models are made for 9mm!

I'm selling my CW40 when it comes back. I had almost lost faith in Kahr altogether but my firearms instructor convinced me to look at the P9 and I'm ever so glad I did. This is now my favorite every day carry gun because of it's size, weight, balance, fit & finish, comfort and overall performance. I have also shot the CW9 and I'm a fan of that too but I decided to go all out for the P9.

Welcome to the forum, but I'm afraid I'll have to take issue about the higher caliber CWs and PMs. I've had a CW45, PM45 and CW40 with no issues at all. The PM45 was my favorite "pocket" gun until it was stolen, and the CW40 is currently my favorite carry gun, although it's the cheapest pistol I own.

Yeah, I pretty much knew posting an opinion about any caliber is like talking religion but I was so disappointed with my particular CW40. I still own an XDM 4.5 .40cal for HD. I love the .40 for that gun. I was just so surprised at how well this P9 has run. When the CW40 comes back from Kahr I might like it much better.

When I first got my CW40 I had a couple of FTE, but that was in the first 150 rounds. After that I've not had any problems at all. I simply love my CW40 for EDC.
