Picked up a CW45 earlier in the week. Felt good in the hand and pointed exactly like my cz guns. I wanted a bit lighter carry gun as my current one is 2lbs. took it to the range today and put 150 rounds through it of hard ball then 50 of my ranger t +p. No problems at all and as accurate as I could ever ask a 3" barreled gun to be. Before I carry I am going to need a lot more practice with the trigger, as easy as it is to pull it is much longer than I am used to. Another 1000+ rounds and well see how out goes.

Slow fire it was very easy to tear a ragged hole at 10 yards. So far I'm very pleased.

Welcome to the forum JRF. The trigger takes some getting used too. I started off trying to stage the trigger and line up the sights again right before it broke, but it's very hard to tell when it's going to break, so I ended up using one long smooth squeeze and in no time it seems my groups shrank and accuracy improved a great deal. I have a CW40 too, so with about 500 rounds through each, I've become pretty used to the trigger, and giving it one firm squeeze and not trying to stage it.

I didn't like the long pull on the Kahr pistols at first. However, I am prone to flinch and the fact that you aren't sure when it's going to break really seems to reduce the flinch factor and this helps me to be more accurate with my CW45 and 9. jrh

as I have with my other CCW practice, practice, practice. I'll feel more comfortable when I don't even have to think about the trigger. That only comes with time....but hey shooting and practice aren't much a chore for me. :-)

It is way more concealable/comfortable than my previous 2 ccws.

Got my High Noon Bare Asset for the CW45. Not bad...but I've got my Milt Sparks VM2 on order for long term carry.

Shooting the gun more and I'm getting used to the trigger.

You can get a James Dean Gunleather IWB holster very similar to the MS VM2, with stunning workmanship, fit and finish for $75 shipped and a 2 week or so wait. Here is mine.

I don't know if you can cancel that order, but I'd give it a try. http://www.facebook.com/jamesdeangunleather
