Saw gas for under 3.00 a gallon, near Wichita KS. 2.99 a gallon. Without having to have some discount card or anything, like at the Dillons gas stations or Kwik Shops.
For those from Wichita, it was at the QT at the Park City exit on 61st N.
The local gas prices site might have some others, haven't checked it.
I just checked it and found 2.97 at 25th and Broadway.
Lowest I saw before that was 3.15. If your tank is large enough you can almost save enough to buy a brick of .22's.

Hah! You think that's awesome? We're down under $3.90! WOOT!
Not.
Gas prices ~20% higher than most of the rest of the country--another reason I'm looking to move south.

I can finally post to this:D
Just got back in from a long day of funeral and family visit in Central Texas, and filled up there for the return trip at $2.99. I might just frame the receipt!

I remember when in So Cal high school premium was under .50 for my 67 Camaro SS.
And my cheerleader girlfriend wore sundresses, tube and halter tops.

Very funny.
People know way to much about me here - LOL!
The car in my avatar is a Shelby GT-H.
Rented for a week in So Cal visiting my son.
Came within a heartbeat of being arrested driving it.
This looks something like my current car & girlfriends...

Lately when I can fill my van for under a 100 bucks its cause for celebration.
I like celebrations so sometimes I go fill up when I still got 3/4 of a tank. I'll take a celebration any way I can get it.

the dillon's card is great, just have to be careful and compare receipts because some groceries are really expensive at dillon's, some are great buys.
for every 100 bucks you spend in a given month on groceries, .10 cents off gas up to a buck off. quadrouple points this month for some reason, so .40 cents off per hundred. i filled up yesterday at 2.59 a gallon. was up in salina for the holidays and gas was like 3.20 up there. don't understand why wichita is so much cheaper.
i agree it's still ridiculously overpriced for no reason other than to make scumbags who are already worth billions even richer. i'm only 28 and remember filling up my first car at 85 cents a gallon.
