Hey all...newbie Kahr CM9 owner and member here :) Replaced my LCP with a CM9. Now i'm looking for carry options for a side cargo pocket in Dickies pants. The cargo pockets aren't huge and baggy like cargo shorts so looking for less print. Thought about a wallet style holster...thoughts?

nobody is going to be looking, so carry what is comfortable, forget about the printing part, only u know it is there, so ur more conscious of it being there. People could give a rats as to what is in your pockets. Personaly kinda hard to beat a desantis..

I think the biggest concern would be a holster that doesn't slip off the gun exposing the trigger. Jocko's right that no one really looks for concealed weapons, so whatever is comfortable and does the job should work for you.

Yea, it's true most people don't look for a CCW, i'm just looking for the best way to assure there's no attention drawn. Any suggestions on the thinnest material pocket/wallet style holster that still does the job well?

My only thought is that cargo pockets are usually lower. I have long arms and can't reach mine without bending over and looking obvious ... they also don't access quickly. Also, if I have a gun in there, the pocket location has a tendency to slap me just above the knee when I walk.
Just be sure that the cargo pocket is the right place for. For me, it sucks ... right front is the best place for me.

some of these "hip hops" nut cases that walk around with their pants down to their knees, in that case cargo pockets would be around their ankles. Last thing I want to see walking down a mall is some fat dude crack of his ass showing

Hey all...newbie Kahr CM9 owner and member here :) Replaced my LCP with a CM9. I did the same and it was one of the best gun decisions I have ever made. The LCP grip and kick combined to make it very difficult for me to shoot accurately. Conversely, I have total control with my CM9. Here is a pic of my last CM9 range session. 50 rounds of Federal FMJ 115gr at 15 yards. I couldn't do that at 15 feet with the LCP.

Hi Bell , I also replaced an LCP with the CM9. I use an Uncle Mikes # 3 and it fits like it is made for the gun. the description on the packaging is for another gun but it works great with the cm9. also use an uncle mikes IWB holster when i can untuck my shirt.
If you are going to carry the CM9 in a cargo pocket and do not want a print of the gun, get on internet and click on Kahr's Kahrshop and check out their kydex pocket holsters. I have one for my PM9 and it works great. It is light, thin and does not print the gun. I can remove the gun easily from it.

Nice shooting there Mark!!!
The remora holster is said to be a pretty good pocket holster, with the option to switch it to IWB carry. It's very sticky and should grab your pockets well giving you quick access to your CM9. I've used mine in some of my larger pants and the "print" looks like you're carrying your wallet in your front pocket.

I would call that excellent shooting. Certainly the best that I have seen on this forum. I was going to post my photo of a target just like that but I will let u picture my group in ur minds. take that target photo and see NO HOLES ANYWHERE.
My shot group!!
I am one of very few in our shooting group that can hang a 6" paper plate up at 25 yards and 50 rounds later, still be able to eat from it:der:

You've already heard that a pocket holster of your choosing will work. Kydex is definitely thin and stiff so WMD is right on to check out that holster. Also, it's okay if the holster rises a little with the gun. It should hang up on the pocket along the way.
I carry spare mags in my cargo pocket and wife sewed a vertical seam to separate them and keep them standing up. They lay flat against the leg and are really covert.

Here is a cargo pocket holster from Recluse (http://www.recluseholster.com/products/recluse-cargo-holster). It has a special area that locks the trigger in. It come in leather or Kydex (http://www.recluseholster.com/products/kydex-plus). Several other companies make this style. But, not with the trigger holder.

Thanx for all of the holster ideas...got a local gun show coming up so i'm gonna look for some of them if not online. As far as the Recluse, does anyone have one and any experiences with it? Pricey, but may be worth it??

Pricey, but may be worth it??I personally do not. However on the LCP forum (http://www.elsiepeaforum.com/) there are many members who have them. Search that forum for Recluse and see. If you can't find enough info then pose a question there. You get all the answers you need.

It's just prone to foul ups and is slow, especially when sitting in a car, restaurant, at a bus stop etc. Consider a IWB or AIWB for the CM9.
