Does anyone have experience with these two holsters who could offer comparison. They seem pretty similar with not much separating them on the face but $20.

I'm enjoying my PJ Holster Kydex now, but want something tuckable for the summer months.

Not familiar with the Cleveland of which you speak, but I have a Theis for my XDM. It seems very similar in fit, finish, and function to my Crossbreed for my CW40. It's not really fair for me to compare these two brands, since the Kahr is so much more CC-friendly than the XDM, but I think they are very comparable. One thing about the Theis is that it (IIRC) it only comes with the combat cut, and my Crossbreed is a regular cut. The butt of my XDM rubs more than I'd like; I think if I had a regular cut holster for the XDM I'd be more comfortable.

Not sure if this helps any, but it's all I've got. THe Theis is definitely a good holster, in my book.

Actually, you can get the PJ holster in a tuckable version.

I think I need a bit more structure with lighter/looser summer clothes. My thought is that the leather backing will help stop it moving around.

Thoughts?

Tommy Theis gives first class service. I also have Comp-TAC Minotaur. It has nicerr leather and a soft backing. Its $35 more.

Do you wear a good belt? I find the PJ to be very stable with a decent belt or gun belt. IMO, all that leather against your body with the Theis would be hot and sweaty during hot summer weather. That is definitely not a problem with the PJ.

I use horse hide and black .060 black kydex just like the big boys. I cut each back from a horse butt hide strip and make each holster by hand in my shop.

Take a look at my thread.
