Good day all. I am now a member but have been lurking for a couple of months plus now.
I have a new CW9 after trading a CW40 for it, I wanted to consolidate on 9MM.

Just came back from the range where I just shot my first 200 break-in rounds through this brand new gun. I fired 100 rounds of Federal Champion 115 Gr FMJ, and 100 rounds of Magtech124 gr FMC. Absolutely no FTx of any sort. The magazine did not drop out and I swear I really did feel the gun "relaxing" about the time I hit the 100 round mark. All this made me feel even more comfortable about putting this gun in my carry rotation. The CW40 had no FTx's but it did have the magazine dropout issue.
I did follow the recommendations I found on this board like polishing the feed ramp, clean up of the magazine, etc.
So, this is just a positive report on this gun for those folks, like me, who lurk on these boards trying to get an idea about whether or not they want to buy this gun.

Welcome to KahrTalk. Glad you decided to post.

Glad to read that your new CW9 was without issue, it is refreshing to read the positive range reports.

Welcome to Kahrtalk By. I have the CW40, and it's one of the guns in my carry rotation, along with a CW45, an LC9, and a Charter Arm .44 Special. Almost bought a CM9, but ended up with an LC9, and been very happy with it. Saved $120 too. Great that you and your CW9 are bonding so well. I had pretty much gotten away from 9mm, but got drug back into it by the small pocket pistols. I like having pistols from various manufacturers, so thought I give the little Ruger a chance. Glad I did.
From what I see on the boards here the CW9 is a great gun and hope you really enjoy it.

well betcha that cw9 was relaxing at 100+ rounds and it will even get better as rounds go down rangje. Once all parts mate up ad smooth themselves out u will think u got a different gun. the CW9 is as nice a kahr as money can buy, IMO nothingin its class for price kand quality.

We like positive reports, most people just don't report the positives a su know on gun forums but always the negatives. I always felt the positive people were out shooting thier positive guns.
