When is it getting caught? First round? Are you racking the slide by hand or using the slide release? Did you clean it and do the 'new Kahr prep'?

Need more info.

I had this problem as well. Refer to this post to correct it.

it is getting caught usually on the second or third round. i racked the slide both ways and would have the problem either way. i did clean befor i shot it but i dont know what you mean about the new kahr prep.

and thanks for the link.

Welcome to the forum. Hang in there and you'll be happy. Do the new Kahr prep thing like Tuson mentioned and also check your mag and make sure that the spring inside is not backwards. There were some like that I believe where the spring for the follower was pointing at the rear of the gun instead of the front of the gun causing more pressure on the rear of the follower instead of the same amount on the front and rear causing nose dives like you are having.

I've had my CM9 for about 6 months now and have had no problems so hang in there. I plan on shooting mine in a few hours. They are excellent pistols. Keep us posted.

Hang in there, mine took around 350 round and about two weeks before it got broken in. I too was very disappointed, but everyone on here helped me work out the issues and I am very happy I stuck with it because it is now my favorite carry gun because of the small size. Proper lubing, leaving the slide locked back and the magazines loaded for a few nights is a big help. If after a couple hundred more rounds if it doesn't straighten up, Kahr will make it right.
