My LGS has a couple new ones in stock @ $415 each.
Is that a decent price?

Guess I'll trek down there in the morning & get one before the free mag offer expires.
Am trying to talk my brother into buying the other one. He's got several 1911s (I have one Springfield Armory GI 45), and we both like the big holes they make. However, carrying one of those concealed is like totin' a yule log under a T-shirt.

Yes, I've seen Bud's prices. But I'm old school and prefer dealing FTF with a local store, looking at the weapon I'm actually buying, and walking out with my purchase in 10 minutes.
But thank you for the reply.

Not a bad price for a LGS.

I see Buds current price is $411 plus (usually $25) transfer so yeah... $415's good!

Prices at my LGS varied a little.......... $675 at one and $469 at the other. They are on the same road about five or six miles apart. I would be all over one for $415

No, but they certainly have my respect. Screen name came about, years ago.

Ok, I "stole" it this morning - now to clean it out and go let it speak at the range.
Sorry for the crappy picture, but I can't shoot anything very well. :o

Well done, as you said prep it, and shoot it like it's going out of style. You'll like that hog leg. My wife loves hers.

should be at rolling thunder on memorial day at least once in their life. Gives a whole perspective of what respect many do have for those who gave all. If it doesn't bring tears to ur eyes, then u either have no eyes or no tear ducts.. or ur just a fokkin pri-k.

Man those online prices look good but I'm to old fashioned. I like to deal local. Congrats on the new gun
FWIW, I got mine at the LGS for $399. It was originally $449 but they had $50 off this month.

They lied. When U add it to the cart, there is a $15 shipping fee.
I've seen CheaperThanDirt has it for $322 but now they sold out.

The lower prices quoted here don't matter to me. I'm glad you guys got them that cheap.
But mine only cost me $86 OTD. :p
