Though it's probably just a side street on my route to a PM45, I decided to get a large capacity duty-size 9mm. I like the design and features of the Bersa Thunder Pro line, and got the 9HC version.

It ain't pretty, but it's dang nice. Cheaper than a Glock, M&P, or any of those other brands that everyone else has. Great balance, and heavy enough to dampen recoil to near nothing.

I haven't shot it yet, too many work deadlines to slip off to the range.

Our resident man of steel has gone multi material. I started to say gone soft but I bit my typing fingers before it got out, crap it got out anyhow.

The hole gets deeper, stop digging.

I think it's pretty enough. Got nice lines to it, lots of levers but they blend well. Is that DA/SA, must be.

Dang! You've got good taste. How much does it weigh?

Yes, I'm multicultural and multimaterial. I have guns made by Yankees, Florida crackers, Arizonans, and Latinos, and used to have one made by Austrians. They say the 9HC weighs in at 30.7 oz, and yes the safety/decocker sweeps down the way John Browning intended.

I've really grown to appreciate the DA/SA system and its versatility.
