John,

Beautiful pic! That is a fine looking full size duty weapon that looks like it will last forever. Sort of like this beautiful CZ in 45 ACP.

I love the look of of the CZ. The taper and cut of the slide. But so is the Bersa. I wonder how it would look with a set of Bawanna wood grips?

For anyone looking for an SA/DA alternative to the 1911, and who has some bigger hands than mine, the CZ is a beauty.

I checked out a Bersa and dry fired it at a GS once. I was impressed with the smooth, sturdy trigger mechanism and the overall quality.

I like that new polymer one, too.

597 at Bud's and they are currently out of them. Nothing but glowing reviews on them. Jfootin, I hate you man.

Shows sold for 650:eek: Another major want on the list. I've wanted a 75 but one in a 45? How am I suppose to deal with this. Hmmmm?

Tried to find a Bersa Thunder 9 at Gander Mtn today. No luck. They do stock other Bersas.

I looked around and couldn't find one at any of the big dealers. Must not be much demand for them. But I think that gun, especially with those wood grips, is gorgeous. But not for me. With my small hands, I'd have trouble reaching the back of the trigger guard with my trigger finger! It is a FAT grip.

Is $331 at Cheaper Than Dirt a good price?

Great pics guys. Bersa's are the best kept secret in the gun world. I had BT.380 that was a nice solid little pistol. I still have it if I didn't buy the PM9. Bersa's have quite loyal following. Bawanna trust me if you like good solid pistols that are worth every penny with great ergo's you still want and need a CZ75B/BD. They are one terrific pistol. I'm still waiting for the LGS to get the Nato approved CZ PO-1 and the Ruger 1911 in off back order. The CZPO-1 is at the top of my wish list.

Bawanna,
This is one .45 that has never appealed to me. It's a big gun and the ergonomics of it don't suit me at all. I do like the look of this customized one:

Now the 75B is a different story. It fits me much better and is one of my favorite 9mm pistols:

It also converts into a fine .22:

I do like Bersa products as well:

If I were into range guns I'd give Bersa a serious look. For carry the action, the weight and the thickness have all been a turn off.

Well I've had a hankering for a CZ for a long time. Greg just shot down the balloon on the 45 with sound logic as usual. If I ever win the Readers Digest bajillion dollars I'll probably buy one anyhow just cause. Probably buy everyone one just cause. Up till then I'd been set on the 75 anyhow so I guess I'll move that back up on the list.
Seems more guys have those anyhow so I need a grip model.

Those are pretty swell looking grips on yours already RCG. I'm not sure I could improve on that but I'd sure love to give it a try.

I have more then one set of grips for all my guns. I have 4 sets for the SP-01 right now. I don't get to see all of them at once but I see all of them once in a while. I like having a lot of grips and when I find the perfect ones I will stop buying new ones. If you ever get a 75 to make grips I would love to be the first customer.

Appreciate the offer Popeye but it's very difficult to make a grip from a grip especially like the CZ or Hi Power where the front hooks in and is held by one screw.
I'm never sure till I send them if they fit or not and usually they don't. With a gun I can get the fit good before I spend a bunch of time shaping, checkering, inlaying etc. I like doing it but it breaks my heart when I get all done and they crack or don't fit.
I'll run it by the missus again for the 13th time. Honey I need a CZ 75 so I can make these guys some grips. (Last time the frying pan missed me by a good foot, I still got the moves baby.)

Understand completely. As I remember when I put the wrap around one piece Hogue grips on mine they were a little tough to get them to set in the cutouts of the frame. Hope you can manage to talk the wife into getting you a CZ75 for Christmas.;)

I'm seeing $361 there http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/15060-55.html, but I had free shipping from Bud's and "pre-approved" transfer so I didn't have to make the FFL play phone and fax tag. That was worth the extra money.
