Hi all,

First I'd like to say that I don't care one bit if a paid operative for Beretta comes here and talks up the Nano. It is a gimmick gun if ever I saw one. If I was getting paid $60K a year to go on forums and talk up a gun, I'd do the exact same thing as that guy.

Anyway, since I live on the beach in South West Florida I replace my self defense ammo yearly. I don't want to chance that the heat and humidity might degrade it. Today was the day I burned off the old. I shot 200 rounds of Ranger T-series 124gr +P and 50 rounds of Critical Defense with my CM9. Again it performed flawlessly. I don't care what Mr. Nano says. I'd bet my life on this gun!! Here is 50 rounds at 15 yards and my hands are not large. The white square is 2" by 2".

You'll need a lot more practice... I notice a bullet hole @ 11:00 o'clock appearing to not be touching another bullet hole. :)

From the looks of that group, I would have to say that you are perhaps squeezing your grip a tad on your first and fourth shot.

Are you kidding me? That is unbelievable..Great target, nice picture, and damn nice shooting..Well done, my friend..MIke

I'm thinking ranges should have a new job to employ people. "Range Boy/Person" He'd/She would be like a golf caddy for the shooting range. They would change your targets, clean up your brass, and fill your mags. 1 range boy per every 4 shooters. I'd pay $5 plus a small tip for that.

I am eyeballing this group to measure 2 3/4". For off hand shooting at 15 yards, I would say, I am glad you are not aiming at me.;) Very nice group.

Hey jocko looks he might be in need of a new barrel. Looks like the accuracy level is kinda on the poor side! Lol What do you think?

Nice shoot-in!!!
I am a died in the wool S&W guy, but my go to CCW is a cm9 go figure.

How do you like that Ranger +P? I have been thinking on some hard ball (nato) for practice. I had some old .40 ranger that was awesome!!

Very respectable shooting. Personally, I would leave your sights right where they're at. Id also like to say I think you've got your trigger squeeze and sight alignment down pat !!! I don't think to many people could do much better with their 1911's. 50 rounds and one ragged hole - WOW

I really like the Ranger T-series. I find it shoots very accurately and reliably. The T-series is what used to be the black talon round. I use it for all my self defense guns because when it opens the petals are very sharp. In my opinion, a better chance to stop the bad guy faster. I shoot the +P as good as the regular pressure. So I figure, why not use the +P. Plus, using the same round in all my defense guns just makes things easier.

Huh, I must have missed that one.

Good shooting with that CM9. I love mine.

Thank you all!! I can shoot the CM9 as well as my Glock 19 which has a few mods. The CM9 has Trijicon night sights that seem to be dead on. I just love this gun!! FYI, I do shoot with both eyes open. With a little work, anyone can learn how. You just need to train your brain how to see, what you see. It is kinda like the old boxing joke when one guy just got up from the canvas as says, "I'm seeing three of him." The trainer says, "Hit the one in the middle." Thanks again for all your nice words.

Mark, If you want those sub 2" groups, all you have to do is quit shooting 50 at a time. Instead, either shoot 5 - 10 round targets or better yet shoot 10 - 5 round targets and you could document some 1" to 1 1/2" target groups. :D

Besides, I like trying to make the 10 ring be nothing but a hole.
