Ok, I came across this site that sell paints that glow in the dark and painted my CW9 sights with this product and after they cure and charge them, they are bright as day. I know this not a option that everyone would in their firearm, but for some of us that cannot spend in everything we want, is an option, an economical one.:4:

Enjoy: Glonation (http://www.glonation.com/index.html)

Disclaimer: I have no business affiliation with such company, I found the product from a guy in youtube that recommends them, and I wanted to share the find.:80:

I'll bet they use that stuff in the movies. Neat!

This one looks good, but I normally keep my S&W 645 with now-dead N/S in the headboard cabinet... in the dark. I don't think that it would get charged.:(

As a temporary solution to 1911 mil-spec sights and arms that cant get any longer, I went to a hobby store and grabbed some fluorescent paint and a small touch up brush. Wiped down the sights with alcohol and put 2 dots on the rear, one on the front...unbelievable! I can now hit the target at 7 yards! Ok, maybe a little exaggeration there, but I definitely tightened up my groups to the point of investing in new sights for the Colt…and new grips and maybe a beavertail and…

These are quickie ones, I have not try them and the quantity they give you, does not entice me to buy them, in the other hand the paint ones do, for any reason the paint falls or needs re-touching, have plenty of it for about the same price.:86:

Is all good, the means justify the ends or it is backwards? :86:

I went for the green paint, yes they do charge for shipping $4.00, but also they give an extra 1/2 bottle. All for $9.50. You will have enough paint to do lots of weapons.:86:

Thanks Vinikahr, for that price what the heck...I have a S&W 4506 thats about 12 years old and the night sights are dead and I really didn't want to spend 200 bucks to get novaks to replace them so this may be a good solution....I just hope I don't start to glow green...I my neck of the woods they shoot at ufo's and green men from mars....

Man, you made me laugh so hard I almost puke. So far I have painted 3 of my firearms no problem. I have not turn green or even start glowing.:behindsofa:

Be careful with that glowing paint or you might be like the doctor's patient with the orange hands and privates. After every conceivable test, the doctor finally asks him what he does, thinking that it must be environmental. The guy says he's retired and just sits around the house watching porn and eating Cheetos.:D

Thanks for the link! I may have to grab a jar myself. Most of my pistols have tritium sights, but this stuff might be nice to play with on some long guns.
