...and got rid of the P380. The functionality problems played a small role in the decision. After the frame replacement and over 700 rounds I was still experiencing premature slide lock about once every fifty rounds and I could deal with that. At the risk of opening a can of worms on a caliber debate, my main concern was with the self defense capability of the .380 round. The P380 was replaced by a PM40. I think it'll go nicely with my PM9. But who knows; maybe there'll be another P380 in my future.

You've gotta do what is right for you. Good luck and enjoy the PM40.

good choice. The only reason I have a PM9 instead of a PM40, is that I had about 1500 rounds of 9mm at the time and nothing else that shoots it. I do have a LCP 380, but only because my son gave it to me for Christmas last year.

O'Dell... I just unloaded my Ruger LCP for reasons of general unreliability. It was my EDC and you've got to have a lot of reliability and confidence in it. I considered a P380 as a replacement, but eventually settled on a S&W Bodyguard 380.
