dang... a cracked magazine

well i've read about it on here and now its happened to me, my 6 round mag cracked at the top rear corner where every other one cracks. just emailed kahr, whats the order of operation? i hope they send me a new mag before i send mine back.

i'm not pissed just one of those "well i'll be" moments.

I wonder if there is any connection between squeezing the mag to make it drop free and split corners. Have you done any modifications to that split mag?

other than crimping the baseplate tighter a little so it doesnt slide off frontward the magazine is stock. ordered a few anyways while i wait for a replacement.

probably will want the magazine back first, that seems to be the norm so far.

Ikeo 74 Idn't think the squeezaing the magazine is ayways an issue. They have been splittle like that way way before this mod was ever talked about. My P380 splt in the first 25 rounds over 2+ years ago..

It's about time for Kahr to go to a quality manufacturer for their mags. Meggar or shooting star come to mind.

i will be pissed if the new mags i bought and my replacement crack, if that be the case kahr should seriously consider a new mag manufacturer and a slight redesign at that, and make them black coated!!!
