I sent the pistol off on 11/30/11. The slide was locking up and you had to hit the back of it with your hand for the pistol to return to battery.
Note from the gunsmith read: Reworked Barrel and recoil spring. lubed and test fired good.
I took it outside when I got in from work and ran 18 magazines (108 rounds) of different brands and types of ammo thru it without one single hiccup!!! I am one happy camper, Kudos to Kahr for the work and the quick turn around!! :):D

They certainly have some great folks there. I sent a cw45 back twice and they just replaced the barrel and had a similar note. Off to the range soon for me!

rogerthedoger, I was hoping to get the pistol back in 2-3 weeks. I had heard it could go much longer. It sure put a smile on my face when it showed up today! So far the gun has
performed flawlessly!!

I had a few hiccups with my CM9 when I first got it and was able to work through them via e-mail. The tech people at Kahr are outstanding.

I got caught up in the P380 new frame mess, took 8+ weeks to get it back.:33: I'm glad to hear Kahr is getting backlog cleared up. Normal 10-14 days seems long enough.:D

Thanks for the report, hillbilly... I'm still sayin' the CM9 will become a hugely popular carry in the coming years if Kahr keeps after it. That size/caliber combination is an obvious niche... The Beretta Nano in the same pricerange now has thrown down the challenge... Kahr will HAVE to insure their QC is up to snuff!

cw45fan, I think it will be popular also, my friends hadnt ever seen a Kahr, they love the little pistol. I let my 11 year old run another 50 rounds thru it today and it ran flawlessly!!!

Wow... Your 11-yr.-old shootin' off 50 in a mini-9mm says a lot right there... It MUST be a relatively soft shooter for its size.

My wife is relatively afraid of guns but is getting better. She enjoyed my CM9 over the LCP we rented.

Yeah... Todays .380 ammo is generally stronger than that of 20 yrs. ago... and in a 10 oz.(!) LCP it IS snappy!
Both of my Kahr polymers are relatively soft-shooters.
Every time I hear about that Beretta Nano.... I picture Robin Williams doing Mork.... Nano-Nano

That is awesome news hillbilly! I am still waiting on my PM9 to come back. Kahr said they received it on Nov. 28th and it was in their queue for repair. They told me appr 3 weeks also. I hope they get mine back to me quick also. I have a thread on here called "Bad PM9" if you want to know why I sent mine in. Very odd but I am counting on them to fix me right up.

Oh yea, I would say that half of the 250 rounds that have been run thru the CM9 were his. He loves it. He likes to shoot it better than my Sig P239.
The CM9 definitely didnt have as much recoil as I expected!!!

Excellent news Tnhillbilly. The loss of your gun is worth the inconvenience when it comes back repaired. Kahr does have good customer service and your turn around time was pretty fast, maybe I'll get lucky and mine will be home for christmas. JL

Let us know! I dont know if mine went thru faster since I sent it off instead of the store doing it. I sent it next day air.

Kahr sent me the shipping label overnight air also. The first repair took exactly 3 weeks for the gun to be returned. I'll let everyone know what the outcome is. JL
