How does Kahr mail my slide back 2 me

You'll probably have to be home and sign. I think they use Fed Ex but I got nothing solid to back that up with. What I do is leave a note on the door and tell them to have the neighbor sign or leave it on my say so.

ThanksThe typical practice is to return it with the same carrier used to send it in. That way Kahr knows you are serviced by that carrier and have no objections to using them.

You were able to send a "slide only" by USPS, hopefully insured. You ought to get it back the same way, also insured. Depending on your type of mail box, it may be left there. Most likely you must sign if the package would be accessable in your box or on your doorstep. My box is centralized and has a space which can be locked. The mailman leaves the key for this space in my smaller locked mailbox.

Kahr sent my slide back to me via FedEx with an adult signature required.

As far as I know, they will send it back via FedEx, regardless of how you sent it in.

Kahr gave me a choice: USPS to my PO Box, or FedEX to my door. FedEX would require a signature, but the PO would not. Since I could not guarantee when I would be home to sign, I asked Kahr to send my new slide to my PO Box.

Less than 3 days later, all the way to Texas, it arrived safe and sound, nestled in bubble wrap and clear shipping tape.

When I had my rear sight installed. Kahr sent my slide back to my house address USPS 2nd day air, which was included in the price of the install. It was in my mail box, no signature required.

they have had the slide for exactly a week. When do you guys think it would be reasonable to expect it back? I have signed notes afixed on my door just in case arrives and I am not home. Does Kahr contact you telling you when to expect it? Never sent anything in to them so I am in the dark here. When I buy things from them, their service is #1. I am not expecting it yet but would like opinions from those that have used their smitty services.

You can always drop Kahr a quick email asking when you might expect it to be shipped back. I did that and seemed like no problem for them to answer.

\+1 on sending an email or calling Kahr! I did that and they responded within 15 minutes via email in the middle of a week day. Don't stay in the dark. Contact Kahr and ask them to turn on the light for you. You won't be disappointed.

I contacted them yesterday--no reply. Tried again today and rec tracking number from FedEx. Should have it Friday. Total of two weeks turnaround. Not bad IMHO. Will give full report on the sights shortly.
