I just found out that Mass has a list of compliant guns you are allowed to own?
I live in a free state called Florida.
I sometimes have a dream that everyone is free....
Then I wake up and thank goodness I live in Florida - LOL!
Actually moved to Florida after escaping from communist California
to live free almost 20 years ago...

You didn't have to move that far, we have those kinds of freedoms here in PA!

I was just thinking that Mass and the open carry folks would be a good match. That way they can clearly see and make sure your only carrying something that's on the "It's ok with the governor list" type guns.
It sure wouldn't take me more than a day to move out if that kind of law was passed round these parts.
I probably should of counted to 10 before I posted this but you know how I am.

Heck you might be onto something there Jocko. Everytime I get to about 7 I got to take my shoes off to keep going and I always lose my place.
I tried taking my shoes off before hand but then forgot what I took my shoes off for.
It's a struggle to be me.

And now a former Mass gov. wants to be President...go figure.
PA, yeh, I'm sure they tax you for that "freedom, like "the right to work tax" if you live in one county and work in another.
Sorry for what I typed right there, it's the only thing I remember about PA, taxes,

Why? I can carry anywhere in the state....:eek:Not in Philly!! Unless they changed the law recently. When driving thru Philly, I would have to stop the car before city limits, remove my gun and lock it in a lock-box in the trunk until I left the city limits again.

Years ago it was illegal to carry in Philly and Allegheny County (Pittsburgh). Not anymore. They changed that a while ago.

Our taxes aren't near as bad as some states, but could always be better.

LOL, Do it all the time, because it is legal to CC in phila. providing you have PLTCF.It never used to be that way. Apparently, they changed the laws in Philly. I do miss my cheese steaks, soft pretzels, and Italian water ice. Plus, I cannot find a good bagel, corned beef sandwich or real rye bread. But, I'll trade all those things to never, ever have to shovel snow again. It was 80 and sunny in S. W. Florida today. I'm still an Eagles fan and always will be!!! I wear my #10 DeSean Jackson jersey on game days.

Romney is not an anti-gun guy. He is from Utah. He did not create the bogus gun laws in MA. Too many other bleeding heart liberals got there before him.

i live and am licensed to carry in ma & ct. the gun laws in ma are so confusing most leos arent sure of them. when the fed assault ban expired, ma still held onto it, kinda. our licensing is horrible and is pretty much left to the local chief of police weather or not he will "let" you get your license to carry even after you complete the safety class and are approved by the feds then state. as far as guns go, they have to be an a "approved" list from the attorney generals office. our a.g. is martha caokley (lost senate race to scott brown) and she is anti gun. the list is b.s. and makes no sense at all.
here in ma (like most ultra liberal states) we pay the highest cost of living for the least amounts of freedom = the democratic way.
needless to say, we are headed south as soon as kids finish high school!

I can tell the same story, Barth ... left CA the second we could and headed for the free state of Texas ... after years of hoping my pocket knife would be enough to ward off zombies, got my CHL in '04, six months after we arrived in the beautiful Hill Country, and I carry my PM9 every time I leave the house ... there are still some places where you can live as you wish; work on getting rid of Obama or those places will be disappearing in the next term ...

I'm about 15 miles outside Philly but lived there till 15 years ago. I'm still and Eagles/Phillies fan, you have to be growing up in Philly. It's like a religion. I've done quite a bit of traveling in the US and your right you can't get a Philly Cheese steak anywhere outside of Philly. It not just the steak and the cheese but it takes a special roll to make it all work.
I'm not to fond of snow but then again I'm not to fond of unbearable heat and humidity either from May till October. Lived in Fla. for two years and Don't even get me started of those not so loveable love bugs. I like Fla. but it''s to flat and straight for me beinging I ride a Harley Roadking. So I just stay long enough for a visit but then I have to go. I like living in an early American history book. Pennsylvania is a beautiful state.

There are only two true conservatives in the race. Santorum and Bachman.

And neither has a chance. Newt used to be pretty conservative when he lived in Marietta, GA. In fact we agreed on most issues. But since he moved to Virginia, I don't know. It must be something in the water.
