One of the "U" marked ones so it's factory serviced. Even looks like the barrel was replaced as there wasn't a scratch on it till I racked it several hundred times.
Today I found that the slide actually audibly "rattles" on the frame when no loaded mag is in the well. Loaded mag in place, no rattle.
There is quite a bit of slide movement on the rails when I grasp the slide and move it side to side/up and down.
My CW-45 has no such movement although it's new and never been fired.
Is there a spec on this?

Kind of hard to quantify what is normal movement and too much without holding it. We hear of some that seem loose but shoot very well. I'd shoot it and if you have issues, give Kahr a call or share them here and we'll work em out together.

Sent an email to the Kahr rep for my area, no answer back yet, but it is a weekend.

I have a feeling it's not a problem. I have two CW-45's, one used and another new, unfired. The used one has some slop, not as much as the P45 but still some. The new unfired one is solid with no slop. So, it may be just normal wear and just means it's broken in.

Its nt a problem, just shoot it like u stole it and be happy about it. All guns willcomneout a tad different than the one right nest to it in production. There has to be some type of play between the slide and steel rails. Doesn't sound lie u have even shot it yet even to see what flys. The refurbished part should be as good as new, so I wopuld not worry aobut that art . Although ur warranty is now I think only 1 year instead of 5.

P. IO just took my magazne out of my K9 and shook it, IT RATTLERS TO. I don't shoot it or carry it aht way, so who gives a damn. Until u even mentioned this I wouldhave never done this little test for something tha tone just not do anyhow with a gun. My K9 is a real shooter also...

Not sure I would have emailed my kahr rep either, they are SALES PEOPLE, they don't know what makes kahrs really tick . Coming to this forum willg et you more straight answers and suggestions than any kahr rep can ever give to you. He/sher is probably gonna tell u that it is OK to and not worry aobut it, which is also right..

We'll anxiously await a first range report.

Well, I just got a PM9 "test fire" one today so I guess I need to head for the range with both of these, if it'd just quit raining so hard!! The stands are covered but still more fun if it's not raining!! My CT laser for the PM9 came in today too.
Oh yes, the PM9 and my CW45, don't have the slide rattle, just the P45, not sure what to make of it now.
