Hopefully not getting into a discussion of bugs or not, just opinions from those who typically carry BUGs.

I prefer faster easier access, hardware up front so primary is iwb appendix with a Remora in my strong side front pocket, LCP. Once in a while a wallet style for the LCP or Guardian.
Colder weather Beretta .40 is primary iwb 2 o'clock with either LCP pocket or lately Kahr CM9 iwb left side cross draw Mitch Rosen CT Clipper. Makes for a lot of junk in my pants  but I still find room...;)
What's your system?

On the rare occasion I do its MK9 in a Silent Thunder STX and PM9 in a Smartcarry. I like that they operate the same way and share magazines.

I don't have a BUG...in fact, I only have 1 pistol haha.
BUT, I would think I would BUG if I was going to a particularly bad place, as opposed to EDC no matter where I go.

And that being the situation, I think it would be similiar to Thunder71 technique, to where I would carry sister pistols.

When I carry a BUG, it is always weak-hand, left hand front pocket. That way, strong hand is for drawing the primary pistol, or being used to defend myself while drawing the weak-hand pistol.

My daily wardrobe is a 1911 OWB or IWB and the PM45 on my ankle. Pretty much year round. Not always comfortable but always comforting. If it gets too hot I lose the 1911 but the PM45 is there always.

I carry a PM9 IWO appendix carry and a P3AT in my RF pocket. This among other things causes me to lean to the right. :)

Just added another option which I love (thanks for the input on it Bawanna and others).

Galco ankle glove... PM9 is barely noticeable.

I forgot your PM9, I thought you were gonna put the MK in there and thought it might be a tad heavy although I carried my K40 with ease. That PM will go nearly unnoticed.

Yeah it does... feels a little like a bowl of jello at times, maybe it'll go away a bit with breaking in.

Seecamp in my front pocket.

Not often, but when/if it's a NAA .22 mag in a front or side pocket. Today, that's sometimes primary with really light clothing....hard to fit anything more into a Speedo.

Seecamp in my front pocket.

Ripley, I understand that the trigger pull on the Seecamp is about 11 lb. Is that right? How hard is it to pull such a heavy trigger? I think it is a really beautiful gun, but that trigger gives me pause.

MY BUG goes on when I dress in the morning and comes off when I undress at night. It might be a SIG P239 9mm, a S&W 640-1 .357, my new Kahr P9, or maybe (if it gets fixed) a new Beretta BU-9. It is carried 99+% of the time in a Kangaroo Carry Standard shoulder holster over a t-shirt and under another shirt. Very comfortable and secure. I even have an Air Marshall size in which I have carred a SIG P229 or P220 Carry. I've never been made. When I go out for a short trip I will usually carry one of the BUGs in a pocket. When I go out for any length of time I usually carry my P220 Carry IWB. But, I always have the one in the Kangaroo. Everything I carry is DAO and the only spare mags I carry are for the SIGs.

Kimber Ultra CDP II .45 or S&W M&P 40C or PM9. All carried IWB or Galco Ankle Glove. PM9 occasionally carried in pocket holster.

I can only answer this by saying the trigger is as I want in a gun of this type. While the trigger pull is a bit heavy, it is also buttery smooth and very linear. Also this is not a gun I slowly or carefully aim, press and shoot. When I practice, I practice shooting as quickly as possible, as in within arm's length danger.

I've never had a need or desire for the trigger to be lighter. It sounds like it would be difficult, but in actual use, it comes off as just right. If you ever get the opportunity to fondle or shoot one, you may in fact think the trigger is lighter than the specs read on paper.

Thanks. I've always admired the Seecamp. Never saw one in person or handled it. My crippled hands severely limit the poundage that I can pull, so I would have to try one out before commiting to buy one. Not a gun that you usually find sitting on a gun store shelf. I guess if I ordered one through Davidson's, I could refuse to complete the transfer after handling it at the store if it is impossible for me. I sent an eMail to Seecamp explaining my condition and asking if they could do anything to lighten the trigger on one for me, but I got no response. Not very nice.

Because of this statement, "My crippled hands severely limit the poundage that I can pull", I'm going to opine that perhaps the Seecamp may not be a good fit for you. The gun is very small, with only room for one finger on the grip. Anyone unable to firmly grasp the pistol may find it very uncomfortable to shoot. Just my opinion. Only you could determine your compatability of course.

I doubt the company would sell an altered pistol. There are several gunsmiths that work on the gun to lighten the trigger and folks that has done it seem satisfied. Info could be found at Seecamp's excellent forum.

I started carrying a bug when I stopped carrying a spare mag for my EDC. I found that it was fasted to access a bug than to clear a double feed.
