First post here and my first Kahr is arriving on Tuesday. I have had many carry guns, most recently a Walther PPS 9mm. I never got used to the mag release location on The PPS, otherwise I really liked it. I also own a Glock 26, the Glock only has one downside for me, and that is it's thickness. I like the size of the CM9 and think I can substitute it for my LCP, which I carry for it's nice size. I will like having 9mm in such a small package. I am glad I found this site, seems to be a lot of useful information here. I am looking over the Kahr Tech section closely and will follow the guidance given. The Walther PPS also needed a some break in tweaking, it is also very tight from the factory, so these procedures are pretty familiar for me. I will let you know after my first range trip how things go. Thanks for a great site!

Welcome to KahrTalk!
I think your reasoning is spot on. I bought the PM9 for pocket carry when and where it would fit and still allow a quick smooth draw. It has easily replaced 80% or better of my P3AT pocket carry - love it. This is the first winter having my PM9 and it already seems to be cutting into my Glock 26 carry. However, if I'm going to AIWB carry I find that in spite of the thickness a small preference for the Glock. This preference may change over the course of the winter, we shall see.
