Hello,
I am new here and come from the dark side...lol.. I have been and still am a big glock fan. I have always liked the looks and feel of the KAHR. I shot a .40 cal. of a friend of mine afew years ago and liked it. Well afew weeks ago i ran into a deal on a like new CW9 and it followed me home. After a day at the farm shooting it, all i can say is that it has been on my body everyday. I like to CC everyday but sometimes the 19 and 21 is to much and i find myself leaving it in the truck or house. Over the last few years i have CC'ed alot of smaller guns kel-tec,ruger lc9,glock 26,s&w 442, charter arms and many more just tryin to find the right one. Well I found a winner with the KAHR CW9. The only one close is the 26 and it was not much differant then the 19.I wanted a single stack 9mm that would shoot as well as my Glock and wear it everyday. And thats what i found in the KAHR CW9.. I have been reading this forum for afew days and it seems filled with great people. I hope to learn alot for it. :)

Thanks,
Littlejoe

Welcome to the club Littlejoe. Lots of users here have a similar story. Hard to beat the Kahr for every day CC.

I would suspect most kahr owners either own a glock ( I d0) or have owned a glock. super handgun, just doesn't ride inn my front pocket like my PM9 can and does.

+1 I own a G17, and it does nightstand duty.

I can say the same thing. No worries, we have 1911's to play with as well. Now having said that, depending on what agency picks me up, I may have one then for and because of work, but yeah that's the general idea.

+1, Jocko (as usual, the voice of reason). :D I own a Glock 19 myself and I love it (shhhhh) but my EDC is a Kahr CM9.

Hi my name is Markis82 and I'm a Glock owner. I started many years ago with a Glock 17. I sold it and tried to kick the habit. Then I bought a G19 gen 3. I began to customize it a little. Wait! Is this the Glocks anonymous meeting? :D

My G27 and CW40 get along fine. I carry them both about equally, and they are equally reliable (100%). Some days I like the capacity advantage of the G27, and some days I appreciate the slimness of the CW40.

You got that right, except I'm in the "never will" camp. My greatest fear is that when I die, my son will spend his inheritance on Glocks. Maybe I should just cut him out of the will.

I had two Glocks, got rid of them because they really didn't fit me right. Gotta say though. Ultra reliable.....

Truth be told I might never have purchased my Kahr if Glock made a subcompact single stack. Both brands are great in my opinion, but the Kahr has the edge in concealability.

I have a Springfield 40XD Compact. I was thinking of trading for either an XDM9mm or a Glock 19 Gen4. I will tell you this...I wont ever trade my KAHR PM9 for anything! ;)

Ultra reliable.....That is exactly why grip reductions and finger groove-ectomy is soooo popular with Glocks. I have been toying with the idea of having the back hump of the grip on my G19 shaved down, myself. But, I just can't bring myself to have it done.

Well if you want to scratch your son's name and put in bawanna I'll give you my solemn vow that not a single solitary dime will be spent on anything from Austria! I'll even still with 100% all metal if you desire.
Kind of warms your heart don't it? Comforting and soothing.

We got an officer going in for shoulder surgery the 30th so I got two of you to keep tabs on. He'll be on light duty for 3 months and as punishment has to work the front desk with all my girl bosses.
Really something when their punishment is doing my work.

I had 40 dept 21's done at Robar. Then I did my own. It does make a huge difference. BUT, it's still a Glock.

Welcome to the forum. CW9 was my EDC until the wifey decided to make it hers. Great gun, and very comfortable to carry.

I traded a Glock 36 with night sights for my Kahr CW45, haven't looked back. I love that Kahr's are built for the purpose of CC. I don't think there is a better CC pistol out there. Its so comfortable I forget its there. I can drive 100 miles with it on my hip and don't feel the need to take my holster off. They definitely aren't all day shooters but GREAT CCWs, they are.
