One is a Smith, and is used for cold weather carry and protecting the castle.
The other will be broken in (still unfired) and will be used as my every day carry when it's warmer. Got a pocket holster coming in Wednesday and my N82 holster just got shipped today too... so will have options. Still need to break it in and learn to trust it first. :)

This was taken yesterday, which was the first opportunity I had to take it out shooting. Fired without issue. Can read my range report here: www.kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=22640
My first Kahr, probably not my last. I just ordered 4 new mags for it and getting some Talon grips now that I am certain I'll keep it.
Talon grips have become a necessity for my pistols. Awesome product.

Mine just came in today...
They feel good. I still think they look tacky, but I don't care. The CM9 isn't a 'flashy' pistol to begin with. It just works.
I did kind of goof and the grips, while applying them, touched a piece of paper and it ripped when trying to remove it... so on the right side there is trace paper residue. I used the heat gun more than I probably would have otherwise and put in a large effort to ensure everything sits properly. Still put it on a slight bit crooked... We'll see how it holds up.
I have this new app (Waterlogue) on my iPhone which makes watercolor images ... so I'm trying it on some photos from the Favorite Kahrs sticky. This one is from "NMO" ...

Wow, RR, you are responsible now for me having lustful feelings in my heart. I really want a "perfect" MK9 to complete my necessary carry collection. That's what I wanted back when I bought my first Kahr, a CW9 (as much as I was beginning to loath plastic, even then), and I still want an MK9 .... now even more. Now I must decide between a month of medical insurance payments or a fully equipped MK9.

Well, I'm out in the boonies this morning when I notice my little point-n-shoot pocket camera has a "High Dynamic Range" filter. Here are a couple of HDR shots of my hiking companions:

Wow! How cool is that? Dang I'd like to get me some sand tires and come down and check out that area. Always kind of intrigued me.
Very awesome pictures here!
My phone has some interesting effects.

The knife is a Spyderco Tusk. It has a blade and a marlin spike, the marlin spike fits perfectly in that little hole and the arch allows it to pivot perfectly to pull the slide pin out. I didn't like the idea of hitting it from the other side.
Good work there.
These are two (too) specials
My new CM9 with Talon rubber grips. I love this weapon.

So, before I put everything away, I decided to take a picture of the extended Kahr "family". Everything is a Kahr owned product except the 1911 which is an Auto Ordnance Corp built before Kahr bought the company. That one makes the picture but not the signature line. :amflag:

Recently stippled. Going to get the slide and slide stop cerakoted black soon as well.
Magazine sitting flush is a fluke, and only appears that way because I just got the Pearce grip extensions today and slid them on a magazine with no spring in it. Don't worry, I still have that ugly gap between the base of the grip and the magazine floorplate... :(
But look how much better it looks flush! C'mon Kahr... hint hint. Make flush fitting magazines. :)
My favorite Kahr or, perhaps, that should be my new (or half new) favorite Kahr.

Thanks! I recently did the Pearce grip extension as well, so took the opportunity to update photos. Doesn't look as good as the photo I posted before did, must be the angle. Oh well, I didn't take a soldering iron to my gun to make it look better anyway. :)

I should be testing it out tomorrow, still haven't fired it yet after the stippling. I did have a Talon rubberized grip on before, so curious to see the difference in feel. The grip extensions are also new, so hopefully that helps too. :)
