In the past I usually figured a case of ammo for each new purchase. That’s why I haven’t bought a .45 lately. In the past that added about $180 to each purchase for a 9mm. Now it’s $258 for a case of my favorite S&B 9mm. I like S&B because of the tens of thousands of rounds I shot I only remember 2 rounds that didn’t go bang the first time, but they both fired the second try. I never had that good of luck with blazer, federal, Winchester, or anything else.Quote:

Actually I’ve sold off some this year. Trying to figure out my long term needs and what I want to keep because it suits my future lifestyle.
Im debating between Glocks (which are not my favorite), my 2 HK’s, my Kahrs, and a couple of Sigs, oh, and 3 revolvers I like the DA and DA/SA best, but striker fired may be more suitable. Haven’t figured out for sure yet.

I've never shot a 365 but I have handled one. I have shot a CM9. I did like how the 365-grip felt. Liked the 365 balance also. Can't say about the trigger but I would probably like the 365 also. With the CM9, a bit too long of a trigger pull for me.
I posted a long time ago how myself and 4 others took the Sig 365 out and tested it with 1,000 rds. All very experienced shooters. All I am going to say is this. Try the 365 out for yourself. This should be very easy as they are popular and most indoor ranges have them for rent. Shoot the Kahr and 365 side by side. Decide which one you prefer. Do not forget the use of the OFF HAND for support. IMO it is one the most important/Critical things you can do on small pistol and one of the most over looked. Not only does it give you a huge support factor, but if you have a medium or large hand, you may ride the slide.
They are two completely different triggers. And very subjective. I love the Kahr Trigger some hate it. If you feel you need a light trigger with a short reset, then the Kahr is NOT the gun for you. If you choose a light trigger then consider a Safety. However, the internet Culture these day's will blast you for it. (no pun intended) also you will need to learn the Muscle, Memory skills that go with a safety. And remember there are a gazillion new Micro's on the Market. A ocean full of them, if you do not prefer either.
One question about your present shooting is. How much do you shoot per month? 10 sessions, 4, 1?

I did that about 3 yrs. ago. Thought about future lifestyle, home needs, defensive needs, ammo, etc. I don't see a need to keep large amounts of ammo. I have enough to keep them busy for a while until they bring in the heavy artillery :p. and enough for practice. I paired down firearms, and only kept what I needed. Didn't keep anything that I didn't shoot. I've never been a collector. I like to shoot what I own without hesitation about keeping something pristine. I also kept in mind calibers. I'm still able to shoot 5 different calibers.Quote:

Yep. My shooting buddy opted for the TX22 (bigger hands and smaller budget). Reviews of the Taurus are really good. I opted for the Sig mainly because the grip is smaller than the Taurus and it feels similar to my 365s. Tomorrow is range day [emoji4]Quote:
