I have only one picture of my Grandmother from my dad's side. He was from Bolckow, Missouri. She was allegedly a daughter of White Cloud, her name before marriage was Phoebe Bird. Years ago I worked on family tree and went there only to run into stone wall at her alleged home town of Union Star Missouri. We got to look at all old local records [saw Jesse James family info] and was told ALL INDIAN records were SCRUBBED at the time back then because any Indian heritage was deleted out so they were not rounded up and put on reservation in Kansas. Now on grandfather's side I got his roots all the way back to 1062 in England.
FUN STUFF doing family tree. My dad used to talk about growing up next to Jesse James home in Saint Joseph Missouri. Went to his address from back then and sure enough it was true.
I lived with my grandmother until I was 16 and her mother lived with us…….My great grandmother was half Cherokee Indian and I was afraid of her, she weighed about 90 pounds and was 5’4” maybe and mean as a mashed cat…..She smoked 3 packs of Camels a day, dipped a can or two of Bruton snuff and always had a drink of Jim Beam before bed, said it was for her bad back……She lived to be 92

I wonder if you ordered some foam packing peanuts from Amazon they would surround the bag with 25 pounds of packing peanuts?
We never get packing peanuts, only wrinkled paper which is handy for getting the wood stove going. This box felt completely empty. Free shipping too, so I guess who cares.
