Just got it today.:D
Sweet! Nothing like a new gun to brighten your day. Good pic too.
oh I like that dlc finish, the knife is not bad either....
Thanks. I love the knife too, especially the Emerson feature. Now all I gotta do is catch up with your round count.;)
Good job Crazymailman. I have the same gun though I think you have night sights and I do not. My wife won't let me out after dark.
The hook you see on the back of the blade is intended to snag on your pocket as you draw the knife. The result is that the knife opens on the draw. I've never used a knife with this feature but I understand it works well.
Years ago, when I was a young gang banger, we used to put a paper match between the handle and the blade. this casued the blade to be partially opened and would snag on the pocket when drawing the knife. Tough on pands and bellies if you got stuck with the tip.
Another trick is to put one of little plastic fasteners through the hole, tighten it and cut off the excess. The little plastic thingy will snag on the pants pocket and open the knife.
The hook just above the thumb hole catches on your pocket and opens the blade as you remove it. Here's a video from youtube that may explain it better.

Thanks Willieboy. I think this may turn out to be my favorite handgun.
How come we dont have a kahr pic thread? other forums have member pic threads of there guns, sigs, glocks, smith, etc.......
I guess I'll be the first one to post some pics.

Perhaps Bawanna could merge this thread with the "Our Favorite Kahrs Picture Thread" and make it a sticky:

Greg
I didn't know we had one but I'll see if I can do that.
Merged. Now I'll see about the sticky thingy. I'm really gettin the hang of this stuff when I'm told what to do. Need to focus on thinking up good stuff.
Another picture thread? I just can't resist showing off the prettiest CM9 in the world! :D
Opening the box.

Everything is polished to a mirror finish: slide, barrel, trigger, slide stop desharpened and polished, and even the magazine!

The sights are white. The yellow is a trick of the lighting.

my new cw45,,and my old cm9
I had taken a couple pictures of my CW 9 and noticed that the guide rod was sticking out too far. I took it apart and screwed it back together. I hadn't noticed this problem until I looked at the pictures.
The pictures were of the slide melt and the stippling Accurate-Iron did for me. My wife and I took it out today and had a blast. We both love this gun.

^You're recoil spring guide is set incorrectly. Very nice pistol though!
I just finished another look at this thread. Some beautiful photos. Didn't see any TP examples in the thread so I'll add these two... a TP45 and TP9 along with a T9 and K9.

ZippoGuy, you need to put some Locktite on that nut or it will come off and get lost.
I'd love to get mine stippled. How much just for that? I don't need the melting.
Very nice Kahrs! The problem is that this thread will make me spend money that I do not have.
zippo guy, the screw wasnot loose or anything, sometimes myh PM9 will do that when I put it back together. have no clue why, but I just take the slide back off and make sure all is well and give it a try again.
Indeed Mike at accurate iron is super. he did my slide melting/refinish and deep grip stipplying on my (jockos custom PM9) somewhere shown on this forum. He is not only reason but he is excellent and doesnt drag ones service out for months ether. He did a tune \nob on my G19 along with serious grip stipploing and it is te\h most accurate gun I have ever owned.
He has a very good kowledge of kahrs to..
Saturday morning goodness....

A couple of days ago I listed some pictures of my CW 9. Here is my P 380. Accurate-Iron stippled the grips and added the Big Dot sights. I love this pistol and have had no problems with it. I carry it in a Recluse holster and forget it is there.
