Not sure, but I don't think so Bird. At least not in the sense of him building planned obsolescence, or at least planning on generational improvements. He had something like 6 patents on the K9 when it came out. And I think one of them was essentially a "revolver" trigger in a semi auto handgun. He was definitely after a specific characteristic and he's stayed with that throughout. Be interesting to see how the new Kahr feels when it comes out. My bet is that he stays with the trigger, or instead comes up with a "new" and/or patented way to stage the striker in a SAO manner.
