Well, function checked the CZ 75 Compact with 50 Federal HST 124 +P, 50 Winchester Ranger T 147 (Plus ~20 HST 147) and 100 124/147 FMJs.
Gun ran flawless right out of the box!
Seems to group better with 124 gr ammo.
Very soft shooting with the steel frame.
It's another case of do as I say and not as I do.
I always say "shoot the stock gun before you start doing modifications".
Then I'll buy a gun and start buying third party stuff before even getting the gun![]()
Put the SS CGW guide rod in the gun.
The CZ Custom OEM rubber grips didn't fit?
I think the PCR guns come with rubber grips.
And the aluminum frame is a little thicker than the steel.
Oh Well.
Also got CGW Short Reset Kit and Slide Stop.
Almost ordered their hammer kit.
But after shooting the stock gun I'm thinking I'll just leave it alone.
The DA is a bit heavy, but the single action is crisp and clean.
Should have waited.
And I knew better.
But the gun feels and shoots great!
I also really like the safety.
And am seriously thinking of carrying cocked and locked.
Very happy I got the - all steel classic DA/SA with safety CZ 75 Compact![]()
Already got 6 Sig DA/SA aluminum framed de-cocker guns.
This CZ, cocked and locked, is kind of like an inexpensive 2019 Commander 9mm
Oh, It actually came with NS too!
Not the best, but they work.
Bottom Line:
Very impressed with this classic CZ handgun.
It's nice to get back to an all-steel, hammer fired gun from the plastic fantastic striker stuff so popular these days.
