"Push button" for removable buttstock fell out of mechanism
I recently purchased a new Kahr 1927 A1 (T1B50D) with the removable buttstock. I shot it today for the first time. Later, I noticed that the push button for the removable buttstock had fallen out. Luckily this was on a concrete pad and I found it beneath me. If it had been out in the grass, I would have lost it.
How is this pin supposed to be retained in the stock-release mechanism? There are no threads or e-ring groove. I only found the one part, so not sure if there are other parts. I can insert the button back in the device to release the stock, but nothing retains it there.
Most likely, I assume this is supposed to be a "tool" that isn't to remain in the stock? However, It was shipped with it in place in the rifle... and there are no instructions in the manual regarding the removable stock version of the rifle. Nada... zilch. Come on Kahr... let's spend a little more effort on user info.
