I use nothing but Eezox on all my guns, rifles, shotguns, and pistols. One of the best at preventing rust.

mothers mag polish or flitz cream will take rust off of most all gun finishes. careful on blued guns though.

Nickel plating is essential for all marine/saltwater environments! Mossberg sells a "Mariner" (I think it's called..) Line of shotguns made specifically for boaters/coast guard etc.. We can only hope for a nickel plated Kahr someday- although I hear our Kahr barrels are nickel coated?

Yes they are. And the Kahr stainless will look great a long time with just minimal care.
