Have a "Tommy Gun" that won't fire. Replaced the firing pin as someone had activated the bolt with safety on. Still won't fire. Suspect it has to do with cam re: safety. Any ideas out there? RD

Are you shure someone put the hammer back in?
I had to ask, it's easy to leave it out........
To the Admins: Exactly what happens if you pull the bolt back while the safety is on. I'll have to say that this causes me to want to always leave the safety off, just in case.
I wasn't aware that anything happened because the safety was on. I don't play with mine that much but I've not experienced any issue like this.
I may not have been using the safety either as I load and shoot, didn't roll around with it or leave it loaded.
I'll have to look into that some.

Dietrich: For a fat girl you sure don't sweat much.
Cue sound of Head slap.

The reason I asked is because the manual clearly states that if you pull the bolt back while the safety is on it could damage the weapon.
