    Default My MK9

    New to the forum. Here is my eye candy.

    Looking for night sight recommendations if anyone has any. Also looking for a factory mag plate if anyone e knows where to source one. Previous owner installed a pinky extension on one of the five mags and I want it gone.

    I have the kahr NS on my MK40. They're quite good.

    Beautiful pistol charger22, I think the MK9 is the nicest small carry pistol ever made….Truglo has some nice night sights for the MK and they are priced right…….When the gun shows start back up in your area try trading your unwanted magazines for flat base magazines as most sellers like the longer pinky style and might be willing to trade……I wanted the black baseplate mag from the “Thin Blue Line” PM9 special run pistols and I traded both of my 7 round mags for the shorter flat black base mags and the guy was glad to do it because he could sell the gun with 7 round mags much easier…..He was happy and so was I and now my Black DLC PM9 look like it should from the factory….

    I recommend switching out the plastic mag bases for the steel Kahr baseplates at the link LabTrek provided. It did take over twenty years, but I had one of the plastic bases break while the gun was holstered and it dumped all my rounds into the easy chair. No more plastic mag bases in carry guns for me.

    Congrats on the MK9. I don't own one, but I remember trying one at the local rental range - and I was able to shoot it just about as well as my K9.

    I come across one it's coming home with me. Friend gave me a small leather Kimber holster in black and that would fit nice!
