I just happened to have had a Mosin Nagant, until the avalanche took everything, that came with all of the accessories, including the bayonet. It should still be good as it was still covered with good ol' Russian cosmoline. All original, matching serial #s, dated 1942. Never even bought a round for it, 7.62X54R. I may have to look in the slide area and see if I can find it one of these days.

Before the sink hole I had one also, there's a possibility that it was a Cossack rifle. Also had the M44 carbine? size. I did get some ammo but haven't shot either one.
I don't have the bayonet for the rifle, got a few accessories for the M44.

I never had one of them old Mosin jobs, I had the much more modern SKS rifles. Unlike what I always heard about the Mosin Nagants not being able to hit the broad side of the barn ,,, from the inside ... my SKS could punch holes through that corrugated metal (most of the time). When that "spam can" of ammo was done, the SKS found a new home ...
