I picked up my Tisas Carry today. Shop didn't call with the clearance, but wife called and I was cleared. Interesting afternoon, on the way there the alternator in the van quit. Wife was at the shop to get a switch replaced that put her convertible top down. My battery light was on and wasn't sure what that meant so I went to the shop rather than the gun shop. Good thing too cause it quit in their parking lot. Chair won't go in the mustang unless we put the top down which it wouldn't do with the bad switch. So wife took it home and got the Rav thinking we'd have to leave the van. Guys scrambled, found an alternator (even though they were busy) and me and wife went to the gun shop. Got back with my new toy and they'd already installed the new alternator and we're back on the track. She'll have to go back next week to get the switch for the top put in.
Like she said, better now than on the way to NE washington in a few weeks.
So far the Tisas looks real good. I'll break it down later this evening and check it out more thoroughly but so far so good. Should be a soft shooter with those tiny little 9mm booolits. We'll see.

That's my alternator for sure, watched em take it out. Yes this should be your gun, it is green on the bottom. Dark green, I being color blind don't hardly notice it. Getting plumb hot out in the shop, heading to my man cave to see if I can find some antler handles for this thing. The stock grips feel great and many guessed it was a Wilson (far from it but it'll do nicely). But you know me and stag.

    Slick looking 1911.
I’m kicking myself for passing on a CZ 75 Compact sale at Grabagun last week.
$499.99 for the all steel version.
Now they jacked it up $20 this week…..

Still haven’t shot my new BH .357 yet.

Nothing better than a Blackhawk. I need to get another 357. My daughter ended up with mine. My 44's are a bit much for me these days although I haven't shot them in ages. I'd best give em a go again.

Had a .41 magnum 4 5/8 barrel Blackhawk way back yonder and that thing would get blood on both ends, not much fun to shoot but I wish I had it back but I traded it and a real nice pretty blued S&W 4 inch .41 mag revolver for the then brand new S&W 645 .45 auto which turned out to be the most problematic gun I’ve ever owned, wouldn’t feed or eject and several trips back to mama didn’t help so it went to someone else…….I traded a nice S&W 640 .357 mag for my first Kahr, a CW40 which was the second most troublesome gun I ever bought but eventually I ended up with the current PM9 which is a keeper……The one gun I still want is a Ruger Blackhawk 4 5/8 barrel in.357 mag which I would say is the best all around, end of the world survival gun available because it’s almost indestructible and ammo should always be available……….
