Installed new WC triggers in my RIA and my Colt OACP. No pics of the Colt, but here's the RIA. Learned a lot. I'll probably still take them both apart at some point and lightly stone the sears, for burrs only. There's a tiny bit of creep in the Colt. But both triggers break at about 3.5lbs now. I'm more partial to solid triggers than skeletonized. I may end up doing others to standardize on length.

Before with the shiny 3-hole, and after with the solid WC

That’s much improved over the stock trigger and finish.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Sorry dao, but I’m gonna have to copy you on this one. That trigger looks like a major improvement. In touching and looking at the stock RIA trigger, I’m thinking it is a chrome plated steel? Hammer kinda looks the same. Definitely parts that can be upgraded.
Love what you’ve done with this one so far. Looking more like a high end custom!!!

I put Wolff springs in the SP101. It was 10-12# DA with the OEM springs. With the 10# hammer spring and lighter trigger return spring, the DA pull is 8.5# and SA is about 3.5. Easy to stage, same feel as my GP100 now. I didn't polish anything, I'll see how it shoots and then decide if it's worth shining up the insides.

I'm curious to hear the results.

Hey dao, You posted up a while back about a tool for removing an extractor. I just learned why. I've never removed one like on the RIA, where the hook hung out past the hole. PITA. I think my boomerang shape analogy was not far off. Had to use one small punch to push the hook back and one to leverage the extractor out from the hammer pin stop slot. Sheez!

You just picked it up and your already tearing it apart? No bonding, no foreplay, no get to know each other?

What better way to get to know it than to strip it neckid?
But in all honesty, I did look it over a few mins first.
