I've never had any problems with my Kahr followers, and some of my mags are over 25years old with thousands of round through them. The bases OTOH are another issue. They will break eventually. But that follower on the left in the photo doesn't look quite right. I'd replace it.
Give the older spring a stretch and give that a try. I’ve also had to remove burrs on the followers, 600 emery paper and or a jewelers file. I’ve boughten a number of used Kahrs and new and used Kahr magazines. New have had a sticky preservative that has to be cleaned out. Seems no one clears their used mags. Every mag the was purchased used or came with a used Kahr was nasty dirty inside. Many took several tries with Hoppies and gun scrubber using Q tips and brushes.
my new mags (12 yrs.ago) were the same , gunked up, inside/outside; cleaned w/hoppies, then polished outsides w/1000 grit paper and then polished w/ flitz ; nice and smooth, drop free like they were shot . my EDC/IDPA COMP. gun .

Lakeline followers are good to go, They work flawlessly for me, but now, for my primary magazines, I use these: https://magguts.com/product-category/kahr/kahr-kahr/
