Well, function checked the CZ 75 Compact
. . .
The CZ Custom OEM rubber grips didn't fit?. . .
But the gun feels and shoots great!
I also really like the safety.
And am seriously thinking of carrying cocked and locked.
Very happy I got the - all steel classic DA/SA with safety CZ 75 Compact

I worried over the 'no fit' reviews of the CZ Custom rubber grips for the full-size CZ75, but went ahead anyway, and although the install took a bit of squeezing & poking, I much prefer the rubbers over the original hard plasticky ones. Much better friction and comfort.
Bummer they don't fit the compact.

Yup, I really like how they look and feel.
But they just don't fit well (not tight and flush).
I've read the alloy frames are thicker than the steel ones.
So I was worried about it.

I've already bought a bunch of CGW parts for the gun.
It shoots great out of the box.
Was thinking I'd just leave it alone.
But I've read so much about how the trigger can be improved.
That after a night's sleep.
I just broke down and decided to go with all the Cajun Gun Works stuff.
So, fingers crossed, it comes back improved.

For now, you guys keep posting 1911 stuff.
I only have the one, but it's a blast to shoot
Took it out this morning for some more fun!

I have heard certain Para’s had a very soft finish, which was easily marred. The first one I had (factory black coated LDA Carry 9) had to polish the slide out of necessity.
