    I'm looking at pickup trucks, wanting something to last until they pry my cold dead hands off the steering wheel. I rented a '23 Tacoma and it's great but the ride is horrible. I test drove a Ridgeline and it's pretty nice. I'm planning to test drive a Nissan Frontier too.

    Tacoma is a good truck. You can always change out the shocks to soften ride.

    I agree, never heard a bad word about Toyota. I've never been a Nissan fan. I had the small Toyota pickups back in my early days. Never gave me any issues.

    Tacoma would be my choice of pickups. They run for ever, [if maintained].
