    So true! I have nuts, bolts, screws, nails, washers, etc in a few different containers/drawers. Before I throw something away, I tear it down for the hardware. Never know when you need it. I mounted a second fire extinguisher in the boat last week and it didn't come with screws. Found some that were perfect for the job, though I have no idea how long I've had them nor where they came from. Saved me a trip down to Ace.

    My dad had a drawer like that. Probably still does. Not me, though. My random fasteners aren’t rusty yet.
